Lightness Through Strength with Bruce Chung - an international yoga teacher from Hong Kong.

March 19th & 20th 2016, 11am-2,30pm  @Yoga Sacred Space Studio Wicklow

Feel lighter and stronger than ever before. Learn proper alignment by engaging the body with strength, making it lighter and more buoyant throughout your practice. Learn how to integrate your hands, shoulders, ribs, tailbone and feet effectively, gaining a better understanding of what role each body part plays in your practice.

Open to all levels but ideal for those with vinyasa experience.

Saturday, 19th March 2016
In the first session, we integrate each body part gradually for proper alignment. By building this strong foundation, basic postures like mountain pose (tadasana) and downward dog (adho mukha svanasana) feel as challenging as inversions as they engage all the body parts effectively.

Sunday, 20th March 2016
The second session builds on the principles established in the first session, applying them to more intermediate postures, particularly in arm balances. Focusing on strength building and core awareness, understanding the mechanics and structure of these postures enables students to achieve lightness in future practice.

A Workshop addressing Hangover & Over indulgence

December 29th 2015, 7pm-9pm - Yoga Sacred Space Studio Wicklow

Following up on our promise of a mid Christmas workshop that addresses the over indulgence at this time of year. Not only do we over load our digestive systems and organ body, we also experience emotional over load due to much family & friends celebrations which can be equally hard to digest. Hence a build up of toxins on all levels, which leaves us irritable, foggy, drained sluggish, generally unwell. Through the magic of the twisting squeeze and release in the Asana twisting rotating practise we literally ring out and rinse the body and also the mind. The experience you will leave with is a clean, clear, calm centred reconnected sense of body and mind.Refreshed and Ready to do it all again for the New Year!
